Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Quickstarrts Unknown The Second!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Danny Gringo!
The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Steve Montenegro and Lou da Vinci.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gringo looks for the body kick but The Second saw that one coming.
Gringo dodges the punch combination from The Second.
The Second cracks Gringo with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
The Second thuds a left hand into Gringo's body.
The Second walks into a left hand.
Gringo misses the shot to the body.
Gringo fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but The Second avoids it really well and circles away.
A left lands for The Second.
The Second scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Gringo doesn't seem bothered though.
Gringo rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and The Second counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Gringo is rocked!

Gringo rushes The Second and presses him up against the cage.
Gringo is still on wobbly legs! Can The Second finish him?
Gringo drags the fight down to the ground.
Gringo wants to sweep but no luck.
Gringo throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
Gringo seems to have recovered his senses.
Gringo scores with a short punch from the bottom.
The Second is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Gringo can do anything to dispel that myth.
Gringo has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
We're going to have a standup here because Quickstarrts Unknown The Second wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Gringo throws a head kick that misses.

The Second scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Quickstarrts Unknown The Second is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Gringo seems to be squinting his left eye. Perhaps he got a poke in that previous exchange. The Second shows no mercy and swarms him with a barage of strikes! Gringo is backing up but The Second catches him with a final right hook that drops him! Gringo covers up and the referee steps in to end the fight! The Second Jumps to his feet and flashes his guns to the crowd. Oh yeah, baby! How'd you like them apples?!
