The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jorgenson fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Mamute sprawls well initially but Jorgenson persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Jorgenson looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Spencer Jorgenson has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Mamute dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Jorgenson. That did some damage!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Mamute chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Jorgenson can pounce on him.
