Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jason Turner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Bain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Turner's entrance music is Take Em Out- Rev Theory. A fine choice. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jason Turner!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, James Bain!
The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Daniel Bishop and Sam Margolis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
An inside leg kick from Bain misses.
Bain scores with a jab to the body.
James Bain seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bain closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Bain lands a really nice looking cross but Turner seems unphased.
Bain looks to land a right hand but Turner moved out of range.
Bain fails to land with a series of punches.

Bain is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Turner.
Turner shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Turner tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Bain swivels and escapes.
Turner slips under a jab from Bain.
Bain does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Turner closes this distance looking for a takedown but Bain circles away.

Turner shoots in and gets a takedown into Bain's guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Turner takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

Bain slaps away a takedown attempt from Turner, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Turner looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Bain throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
A bone on bone clash there as Turner blocks the leg kick.
Bain lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Bain.

and Bain counters with a nice uppercut.

Bain moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Bain looks to throw the jab but Turner is out of range.

Bain swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Turner walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Bain connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Bain tried to score with a low kick but Turner checks it.
Bain leaves Turner with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Turner throws a solid leg kick but Bain takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Turner.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

James Bain dominated that round.
That's time! Back to the action!


Nice straight punches there by Bain. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Bain.
Turner defending well as Bain loads up on a big left hand.
Bain throws a series of punches but Turner moves out of range.
Bain just misses with a punch to the body.
Turner closes the distance and clinches up with Bain, looking for a takedown. Turner pushes Bain against the cage but Bain circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Bain tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Turner is able to avoid easily.

Bain feints a jab promting Turner to slip. Bain then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Turner slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

Bain throws a hook but Turner avoids it easily.

Bain wants to slow Turner down by chopping away at his legs.

Turner tries for a takedown but Bain sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Bain lands a nice shot that snaps Turner's head back.

Bain throws a series of strikes that have Turner backpedaling.
Turner takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

Turner closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Bain quickly recovers to half guard.

Turner is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

James Bain comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Bain winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
