Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jonathan Moxon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dan Stann (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 18 - 17 - 1, fighting out of Hilo, Jonathan Moxon!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 18 - 17 - 2, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dan Stann!
The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Columbo Gatti and Steve Montenegro.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Moxon fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

A close round but Dan Stann will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.



Moxon shoots in and bounces Stann off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Stann is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Stann really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Moxon. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Moxon closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Stann wants to get back to his feet but Moxon drags him back down.
Moxon tries to advance to mount but Stann denies him.
Stann is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Moxon asserts his dominance and retains side control.

Moxon feints a jab promting Stann to slip. Moxon then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Stann slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Moxon closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Moxon lands in his opponent's guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Stann's corner calls for a 1-2. Stann obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Stann takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.

Moxon fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

I would just about give that final round to Dan Stann.
I think Stann has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
