The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Winkel misses with a lunging right hand
and Frost counters with a head kick. That will keep Winkel thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!
A head kick from Frost lands but Winkel takes it in his stride.
Frost sizes up Winkel with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Frost moves away from the strike by Winkel.
Winkel throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Frost counters with a big head kick but Winkel shrugs it off.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Winkel is defended easily by Frost.
Winkel throws a nice looking combination but Frost bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Winkel knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Frost on the ground.

That was a close second round but I would say that Kurt Winkel will probably get the nod.
