Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between New Dalton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chuck Liddell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Liddell misses with a low kick.
Dalton avoids the head kick by Liddell.
Liddell tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Dalton manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Dalton looks to land a combination but Liddell avoids it well.
Dalton throws a nice looking combination but Liddell bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Liddell shoots in looking for a takedown. Dalton tries to sprawl out of it but Liddell keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Dalton manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Liddell lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Dalton has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Dalton and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Dalton throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Liddell's waist but Liddell gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Dalton off to one side.
New Dalton seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Liddell throws a leg kick that misses.

Liddell drives through with a takedown into guard.
Liddell seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Liddell wants to work for an arm triangle but Dalton is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Liddell throws a strike but Dalton avoids it easily and moves to full guard.
Liddell stands and throws Dalton's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Liddell is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Dalton will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
