Abrenica has chosen AA Entrance Song as his entrance music. Aljur Abrenica will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lodbrok looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Abrenica!

The strikes coming from Lodbrok are missing the target in this wave of attacks.

Abrenica is looking for a sweep.
Abrenica manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.

Lodbrok knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Abrenica on the ground.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Abrenica working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Lodbrok doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Lodbrok manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Lodbrok is looking to work some ground and pound but Abrenica has wrist control.

Abrenica lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Lodbrok!

Abrenica jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Lodbrok manages to avoid the submission attempt.

Abrenica tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
