Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Franco Williams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bradley Curry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Franco Williams has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Franco Williams!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Bradley Curry!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Williams gets tackled into the cage by Curry. Curry maintains the clinch.
Williams tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Williams blocks a body shot from Curry.
Williams trying to stall but Curry improves his position.
Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Curry.

Williams is fighting off a takedown attempt but Curry is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Williams to the mat. Williams regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Williams is looking to stand up but Curry isn't so interested in that idea.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Curry shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

Williams will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Curry stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Williams swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Williams can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Curry controls the pace.

Williams throws a sloppy head kick and Curry moves out of range easily.
Curry takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Curry takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.

Curry fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Williams, pushing him back against the cage.
Curry has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Williams is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Williams really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Williams tries to land a leg kick but Curry saw it coming and moves away.

Curry has managed to clinch.

Curry has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Williams is trying to keep an underhook but Curry manages to get the takedown into half guard.

Williams is looking to escape.
Curry slips a nice elbow through Williams's hands, connecting with Williams's forehead.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Curry is looking to advance position but Williams won't allow it.
Curry not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Bradley Curry dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


Curry is trying hard to land a takedown here. Williams sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Williams swings for the body but Curry moves out of range.
Curry checks the leg kick nicely there.
Williams throws a low kick but Curry moves out of range easily.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Curry crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Williams - the referee stops the clock and Curry gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Williams. Curry manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Curry closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Williams quickly recovers to half guard.

Bradley Curry is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
Curry content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.
