The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Walters looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Walters distracts Braxton with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Walters lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.

Walters is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

Braxton has his foot on Walters's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Walters works his way back into a safe position though.
Braxton wants to sweep here but Walters controlling him for the moment.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Walters has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Walters makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.

Braxton really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Walters gets to his feet and stands over Braxton, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Braxton felt that one! Walters unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Braxton from any more punishment!
