PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between The BakedGuy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sam Greco (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Greco has chosen Inner Circle- Bad Boys as his entrance music. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Winston Howard and Donatello Bradman.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Greco keeps the fight on the outside.
BakedGuy looks to land a body kick but Greco moved away.

Greco instigates a clinch.
Greco lands an elbow that stopped BakedGuy in his tracks for a moment.

It looks like The BakedGuy has been cut.
BakedGuy trying to land knees to the body.

Greco pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Greco avoids the head kick by BakedGuy.
BakedGuy throws a head kick that misses.

BakedGuy fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Greco to the ground. BakedGuy is now in Greco's guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
BakedGuy is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

BakedGuy stands up and waves to Greco to follow him.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Greco throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
BakedGuy moves in looking to clinch but Greco pushes him off.
No luck for BakedGuy with that takedown attempt.
BakedGuy tries to clinch up.
Greco throws a quick head kick that skims the top of BakedGuy's head.

BakedGuy shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than BakedGuy was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Greco is pushing BakedGuy's head away, looking to escape. BakedGuy manages to hold on to the position though.
BakedGuy remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

BakedGuy decides to stand back up. BakedGuy steps back and let's Greco get back to his feet.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
BakedGuy blocks a head kick by Greco.
BakedGuy showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Greco.
Greco misses with a series of wild punches.
BakedGuy pulls out of a head kick attempt.
BakedGuy tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Greco rushes BakedGuy and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Greco scores with a nice hook to the head.

Greco with a knee to the head.
Greco looking to throw knees to the head but BakedGuy is blocking nicely.
Greco scores with a knee to the head.
BakedGuy is trying to drag Greco to the mat but Greco just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
BakedGuy tries to pull guard but Greco won't allow it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for The BakedGuy. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Greco connects with a knee to the head.
A nice glancing elbow lands by Greco.

The BakedGuy's cut is getting worse.
BakedGuy is looking to break free of the clinch but Greco has double underhooks.

Greco's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
BakedGuy thows a body shot but no joy.
The fighters circle, before Greco throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into BakedGuy's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Greco lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!

Sam Greco decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
