The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Runs shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Myres pinned against the cage. Myres gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Myres really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Myres misses with a few strikes there.
Nice takedown defense from Myres. No joy for Runs on that attempt.
Runs avoids the head kick by Myres.
Runs showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Myres.
Runs is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Myres.
Kolby Myres seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Myres throws a lazy head kick
and Runs makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Myres really felt that one!
Myres misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Myres throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Myres throws a sloppy head kick
and Runs counters with a flying knee that drops Myres! Runs dives in and finishes the fight with a flurry of strikes from the mount!
