Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Giorgio Macero (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ray Bobles (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Thiago Cunha and Edson Gomes.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bobles closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Bobles lands in his opponent's guard.

Bobles stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Macero swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Macero wants to sweep here but Bobles controlling him for the moment.
Macero lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Bobles!

Macero is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Bobles has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Bobles slips a leg in and gets back to half guard.

Macero passes the guard and advances to mount!

Macero has hold of Bobles's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Bobles manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Macero wants to take Bobles's back here but Bobles is holding on to an arm, himself looking to escape.

Macero has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Bobles's face.

Macero postures up in Bobles's guard and throws a big left but Bobles blocks it.

Oh but Bobles is tightening it up a little... Macero has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Macero reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Macero taps out! nice BJJ there by Bobles!
