The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Abbot misses with a straight left.
A swing and a miss from Harri.
Abbot throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Abbot is looking to slow Harri down with leg kicks.
Harri has a takedown stuffed.
Harri ducks under a wild hook from Abbot.
Abbot rushes in with a sloppy looking punch

and Harri counters with a single leg into guard. Abbot didn't expect that.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Abbot working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Harri.
Harri wants to pass the guard but Abbot is keeping the position.
Harri passes into half guard.

Harri is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Abbot sees it coming and defends easily.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Harri tries to pass the half guard into mount. Abbot knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Abbot on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Abbot tries to get out of the position.

Harri has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Harri is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Abbot to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Abbot shrugs it off.
Harri fails to move to back control.
Harri can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Abbot is looking to escape.

Harri has hold of Abbot's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Abbot manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Abbot stops Harri from taking his back. Still, being mounted isn't any better.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Harri is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Abbot has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Harri thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!

Harri is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Abbot has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Abbot!

Abbot is posturing up here but Harri has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Abbot tries to roll out but it's too tight and Abbot has to tap! Slick submission there by Harri!
