The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Murthy postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Hall looks a forlorn figure.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Hall is breathing heavily.

Murthy is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Hall to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Hall shrugs it off.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Hall will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Murthy is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Hall can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!


Murthy throws a leg kick which misses Hall's front leg but catches the back leg as Hall tries to avoid it.

Murthy dives in and grabs Hall's left leg, looking for a takedown. Hall pushes down on Murthy's head and hops out.

Ben Hall has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kevin Murthy.

Hall dives in and grabs Murthy's left leg, looking for a takedown. Murthy pushes down on Hall's head and hops out.

Hall is fighting off a takedown attempt but Murthy is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Hall to the mat. Hall regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

Hall is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Murthy is aware though and is defending well.

Hall on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Hall tries to get out of the position.
Let's hope that Murthy has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Murthy swings around for an armbar but Hall sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Murthy's guard.
