The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Garp avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Doberman has taken the fight to the clinch.
Garp wants to break free but Doberman has control.
Garp blocks a punch to the side of the head.
A short uppercut from Doberman.

It looks like Storm Garp has been cut.
Doberman struggles to land a body shot inside as Garp controls his hands.
Doberman misses with a punch to the body.

Garp pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Garp thows a left - swing and a miss!
Doberman tries to work over Garp's front leg with a kick but Garp checks it.
Nice body punch from Doberman.
Garp on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Doberman. Doberman obviously looking to wear him down.

Doberman throws out a powerful jab.
Garp throws a hook but Doberman blocks it.
Doberman closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Garp swings for the body but Doberman moves out of range.

Doberman tries to clinch up.
Doberman is looking to chop away at Garp's legs.
Doberman closes the distance but Garp moves to the side
and Garp counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

It looks like Pvt. Duane Doberman has been cut.
Doberman wants to clinch up but Garp keeps it at a distance.
Doberman throws a shot to the body.
Doberman moves out of range of the strikes.
The fight stays on the outside here - Doberman looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Garp takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Garp misses with a series of wild punches.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Doberman bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Doberman tries to clinch up but Garp circles away and keeps his distance.
Doberman moves out of range of the strikes.

An inside leg kick lands from Doberman.
Garp swats away the attempt to clinch by Doberman.
Nice body kick there by Doberman.

Doberman gets a clinch.
Doberman lands with a right to the head.
Doberman tries to throw a body punch but Garp avoids it by throwing Doberman back against the cage.

Garp tries to break the clinch but Doberman is controlling the position.
Garp blocking some punches.
Doberman throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Garp blocks it with crossed arms.
Doberman throws a head punch that misses.

Doberman misses with the head strike.
A head punch on the inside from Doberman fails to land.
Doberman blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Doberman lands with a short head shot on the inside.

Garp breaks from the clinch.
Garp takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Doberman drives through and clinches with Garp against the cage.
Garp tries to break the clinch but Doberman is controlling the position.
Garp misses with a body punch.
Doberman softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage.

That has opened up Storm Garp's cut even more.
Doberman tries to work over Garp's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Doberman scores with a nice hook to the head.

Doberman lands with a short punch from the clinch.

The cut above Storm Garp's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Garp stalling in the clinch.
Doberman misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Garp.
Garp can't find room to land a body shot as Doberman controls the action.
Doberman lands a right hand.

An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Doberman.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Doberman lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!

Storm Garp's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Storm Garp's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
