The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Voss doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Ward counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Voss on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Voss shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Ward defends it nicely.
Voss tries to score a power double leg takedown but Ward sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Voss somewhat.

Voss shoots in for a takedown but Ward shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Voss jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Ward walks away with a smile on his face. Voss gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Ward creates some distance for himselfand unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Voss's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Voss drops to his knees and Ward pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
