The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Materla avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Left hook, right uppercut from Murcielago.
Murcielago lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Materla is rocked!
Materla uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Materla is still on wobbly legs! Can Murcielago finish him?
Materla walks straight into a right hand from Murcielago - that's dropped him! Murcielago jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Materla from any more punishment! Materla complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
