Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Shawn Bhaltair (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carter Wang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Bhaltair might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to GSTP. Wang is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by "Big Trouble in Little China" by Coup de Villes. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Carter Wang!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wang looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Wang shoots in looking for a takedown. Bhaltair tries to sprawl out of it but Wang keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Bhaltair manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Bhaltair wants to clinch.
Bhaltair is trying hard to land a takedown here. Wang sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Wang tries to close the distance and clinch up but Bhaltair swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Bhaltair throws a push kick but Wang slaps the foot to one side.
Bhaltair thows a body shot but no joy.

and Wang counters with a nice double leg into side control. Bhaltair won't be happy with that.

Wang is staying tight to Bhaltair's torso, preventing him from escaping.
Bhaltair wants to control but Wang postures up.
Wang landing strikes.

Wang is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Bhaltair has escaped the position, nice work there.
Bhaltair tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Wang wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Wang stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Bhaltair misses with a double jab

and Wang counters with a takedown into side control.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Bhaltair wants to get back to his feet.

Bhaltair is looking to reverse the position.
Bhaltair is breathing heavily.
Wang tries to move into full mount but can't pass Bhaltair's legs.
Bhaltair knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Wang on the ground.

Wang decides to take the fight back to the feet.

Wang closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Bhaltair to the mat! Bhaltair manages to get full guard.
Wang works a leg free and moves into half guard.

Wang is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Wang prevents Bhaltair from improving his position.
Wang thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

Wang is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Bhaltair sees it coming and defends easily.
Wang winds up and cracks Bhaltair with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Bhaltair tries to get to full guard but Wang has control of the leg.
Wang is keen to just control but Bhaltair is a slippery customer.
Wang throws a big elbow that misses, also allowing Bhaltair to regain full guard.

Wang drops back looking for a leg! Bhaltair is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Bhaltair manages to kick Wang off! Wang jumps back into Bhaltair's guard.
Bhaltair lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Wang!

Wang regains half guard.
Wang is trying to stand up here but Bhaltair is controlling him well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Bhaltair looks to score some points with some ground and pound.

Wang is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Bhaltair is staying active.
Wang is looking to escape.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Bhaltair looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Bhaltair drops an elbow to the side of Wang's head.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Carter Wang dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Shawn Bhaltair's cut.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Bhaltair looks to land a combination but Wang avoids it well.
Wang tries to score a power double leg takedown but Bhaltair sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Wang somewhat.
Horrible takedown by Wang or perhaps it was just good defense by Bhaltair which made him look bad.
Bhaltair doesn't manage to clinch there - Wang circles away.
Bhaltair lands with a nice combination. Wang backs away looking to recover.

Bhaltair has taken the fight to the clinch.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Bhaltair gets control of Wang's arms and successfully pulls guard. Bhaltair will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Bhaltair is looking for a triangle but Wang pushes his legs off easily.
Bhaltair not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Bhaltair trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from!
The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Wang. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.
Wang sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Bhaltair's guard.

Wang is trying for a kimura here. Bhaltair looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Wang wins by kimura!

A very excited looking Carter Wang made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
