PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ron Kelly (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mc Flurry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Mc Flurry was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ron Kelly!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Mc Flurry!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Timothy Bukovac and Don Winkell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A combination from Kelly does no damage.
Kelly comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Kelly throws a right hand that Flurry ducks under and follows up with a left that Flurry also avoids with ease.
Kelly just misses with a punch to the body.
Flurry tries to close the distance and clinch but Kelly swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Flurry tries to clinch but Kelly moves out of range.
Flurry tries to clinch but Kelly is having none of it.
Kelly throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

and Kelly counters with a single leg into guard. Flurry didn't expect that.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Flurry really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kelly. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Kelly, as that shot connected.

and Kelly counters with a three punch combo that has Flurry backing up. Flurry nods at Kelly to acknowledge the strikes.

Kelly is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Flurry.

Kelly wants to break the clinch but can't.
Kelly is trying to push Flurry away but Flurry has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Kelly is trying to force a seperation but Flurry has the dominant position.

This has been an exciting period of action!

Kelly has Flurry pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Kelly pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Flurry tumbling to the mat - Kelly dives into Flurry's guard.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Kelly wants to stand and escape but instead Flurry has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
