The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Andrew Berry and William Gold.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yayram scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Yayram tries to close the distance and clinch but Smith swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Yayram moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
A slow jab from Smith misses its intended target.

Yayram stuffs the takedown attempt from Smith. Smith gets slowly back to his feet.
Smith tries to score a power double leg takedown but Yayram sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Smith somewhat.
Yayram connects with a body shot that sends Smith's belly button to the back.

Smith darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Yayram regains full guard. Nicely done.

Smith is looking to work some ground and pound but Yayram has wrist control.

Yayram is looking to sweep but instead, Smith has passed into half guard.

Yayram is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Smith pulls his head out easily.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Yayram works his way to full guard. Good work.
Smith wants to pass the guard but Yayram is keeping the position.

Smith has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Yayram is pulling down on Smith's head to control his posture.
Smith wants to control from the top but Yayram keeps moving.
Smith postures up in Yayram's guard and throws a big left but Yayram blocks it.

Yayram working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Smith doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Yayram is tightening it up a little... Smith has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Smith reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Smith taps out! Nice BJJ there by Yayram!
