Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Josh Dominguez !
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Wesley Smith and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kawasaki looks to score with a jab to the body but Dominguez is just out of range.
Kawasaki misses with a jab, cross combination.
A cross from Kawasaki lands.
Nice body kick there by Kawasaki.
Kawasaki connects with an inside leg kick.
Kawasaki connects with a solid leg kick.
Dominguez with a lazy takedown attempt

and Kawasaki counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Dominguez tries to roll over but Kawasaki keeps him under control.
Kawasaki looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Kawasaki is working hard here to advance position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Dominguez is trying to get back to full guard.
Kawasaki passes to side control.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Kawasaki works to advance to full mount. Dominguez defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
Dominguez really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kawasaki. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Kawasaki looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
Kawasaki lands a big elbow.
Dominguez tries to hold on but Kawasaki postures up.

Kawasaki has control of Dominguez 's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Dominguez regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Dominguez keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Dominguez wants to get back to his feet.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Kawasaki has hold of an arm here, looking to extend it. He's committed to the armbar attempt here! Will he get it?! Yes! Dominguez is forced to tap!
