Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Kyle Freer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alejandro Zependa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Alejandro Zependa will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Freer darts in and clinches Zependa up against the cage.

Freer had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Zependa defends it easily.
Freer wants to sweep but no luck.
Freer is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.

Zependa has hold of Freer's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Freer manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Zependa keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Freer's head.

Freer has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Zependa can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
