Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ken Oath (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Soham Roy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 15 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ken Oath!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Soham Roy!
The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Jonathan Paton and Bruno Lombardi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A jab from Oath finds it's way through Roy's defenses.


It looks like Soham Roy has been cut.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Oath.

Soham Roy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Oath stuns Roy with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Roy uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Oath has time to react.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Oath cracks Roy with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

That has opened up Soham Roy's cut even more.
Oath softens up his opponent with a couple of shots there and then CRACK! One massive shot lands there and Roy is out cold! Oath jumps to his feet and celebrates on the cage with the fans, who are, quite frankly, going absolutely mental!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ken Oath!

During a confident post fight interview, Ken Oath thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
