Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Rampage Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tyler Maicon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jones comes to the cage accompanied by 2pac ft. Nate Dogg- . Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maicon shoots in looking for a takedown but Jones manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Maicon's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Jones swinging wildly here.
Jones drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Maicon is not content to let Jones control the position.
Maicon tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Jones wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Jones tries to stand but Maicon is controlling his head.
Jones working away.
Jones fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Jones wants to lay and pray for a moment but Maicon keeps working.

You can see the frustration on Maicon's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Maicon is looking to regain half guard here but Jones keeps moving and retains side control.
Maicon wants to control but Jones postures up.
Maicon is trying to escape the position but Jones is controlling the position.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Jones fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Maicon to the ground. Jones is now in Maicon's guard.
Maicon not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Jones pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Maicon is keeping the position for now.
Maicon wants to sweep here but Jones controlling him for the moment.
Jones has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Jones drops back, looking for a kneebar! Maicon looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Maicon looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Maicon!
Jones pushes Maicon away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Maicon gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Jones trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.

Jones is breathing heavily.
Maicon is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Jones knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Jones tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck.
Jones is trying to stand.
Maicon trying to control but Jones is having none of it.
Maicon lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Maicon wants to get back to his feet but Jones is holding on tight.
Maicon throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.

Tyler Maicon decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
