Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Abdul Raziq!
The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Bruno Lombardi and Franklyn Lucas.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Raziq displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Aragus.
Aragus throws an overhand right that lands on Raziq's shoulder, as Raziq tries to avoid the shot.
Aragus ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Raziq moves away.
Aragus scores with a nice head shot.
Aragus swings for the body but Raziq moves out of range.

Aragus shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Aragus was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Raziq is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
Aragus lands an elbow.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Raziq wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!

Raziq really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Aragus. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Raziq is working to avoid the ground and pound but Aragus connects with a decent elbow.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Raziq can do anything to dispel that myth.

Aragus is looking to take a break and control but Raziq is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Raziq takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.

Aragus in side control here. He's dropped a big elbow there and Raziq looks hurt! Oh, he is hurt! Aragus turns on the heat and pounds him out for a TKO victory! Good killer instinct there!
