And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Phoenix Miyamoto!
The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Shigeki Fujiwara and Yukihiro Yamamoto.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Goins swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Goins blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Nice elbow from Miyamoto.
Miyamoto is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Goins is keeping busy.
Goins throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Miyamotos head.
Goins swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Goins lands a nice uppercut.
Goins avoiding damage as Miyamoto throws knees to the body.
Goins creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Miyamoto's defenses.

It looks like Phoenix Miyamoto has been cut.
Miyamoto gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
Miyamoto tries to land knees in the clinch but Goins avoids the damage to the body.
Come on Miyamoto - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Goins throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Goins tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.

Miyamoto is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Goins is defending well for now.
Goins lands an elbow inside.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Miyamoto.
Goins lands a hook to the side of the head.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Goins tries a knee to the head but Miyamoto blocks it.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.
Goins avoids a wild elbow strike from Miyamoto.
Goins misses with a short punch on the inside.
Miyamoto is struggling to control the position.
Goins doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Goins lands a hook that snaps the head of Miyamoto backwards.
Miyamoto's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
Goins takes an elbow to the temple.
Goins makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.

Miyamoto is rocked!
Goins creates some distance for himselfand unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Miyamoto's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Miyamoto drops to his knees and Goins pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Leroy Goins!
A very excited looking Leroy Goins rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
