Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gerald Fitzlarry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mordred Silar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silar shoots in for a double leg but Fitzlarry sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Silar fails with the takedown.

Silar tries to lock up and control but Fitzlarry gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Silar is looking to improve his position but Fitzlarry isn't that keen on the idea.
Silar bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Fitzlarry is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Silar is surviving well by controlling Fitzlarry's body position as best he can.
Silar is desperately trying to improve his position but Fitzlarry has a good base and remains in mount.

Fitzlarry wants to finish this one by submission but Silar is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Fitzlarry.

Fitzlarry feints and as Silar raises his hands in defense, Fitzlarry changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Fitzlarry has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Fitzlarry slips nicely into half guard.

Fitzlarry is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Silar doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Fitzlarry.

Fitzlarry has control of Silar's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Silar regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Fitzlarry has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Silar should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Fitzlarry has tightened it up now! Silar should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
