Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Lenny Bronson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Josh Berzins!
The judges for this bout are William Gold, Richard Clark and Sam Margolis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bronson scores with a jab.


It looks like Josh Berzins has been cut.
Berzins just misses with a punch to the body.
Berzins slips a jab from Bronson.
Bronson lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.

Berzins drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Bronson wants to stand but Berzins is controlling the position.
Bronson knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Berzins on the ground.
Berzins slips nicely into half guard.
Berzins thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Bronson's head.
Still in half guard, Berzins seems content to control.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Berzins wants to work for an arm triangle but Bronson is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Berzins moves nicely into side control.
Berzins throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.

Berzins is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Bronson is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Bronson dodges the ground and pound from Berzins.

That's one minute gone in the round.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Berzins is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Bronson knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Berzins has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Bronson is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Berzins yanks on the arm and Bronson is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Berzins.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Josh Berzins!
During a confident post fight interview, Josh Berzins thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
