The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Qwerty fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Almedia lands with a shot to the body.
Almedia throws a right and a left that Qwerty avoids nicely.

Almedia fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Qwerty, pushing him back against the cage.
Almedia displaying some good clinch control by pressing Qwerty up against the cage.
Almedia gets underhooks to prevent Qwerty's takedown attempt.
Qwerty wants a takedown.

Qwerty is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Almedia is keeping busy.
Almedia lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Qwerty.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Almedia creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Qwerty gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Almedia gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!
