The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bowles looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Bla is fending him off so far but Bowles persists. Nope, Bla circles away and we're back to standing.

Bowles drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Bowles jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Bla escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Bowles gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Bla is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Bowles pulls his head out easily.

Bowles tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Bowles has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Bowles is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Bla is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
