Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between The Situation (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lance McQueen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McQueen avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

McQueen has managed to clinch.
Situation tries to pull guard but McQueen forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
McQueen just leaning against Situation, taking a breather.
McQueen is working for takedown but Situation is calmly controlling the position for now.

Situation pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
The fight stays on the outside here - Situation looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Good leg kick by McQueen there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
A jab from McQueen finds it's way through Situation's defenses.
McQueen lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.

Situation drives through and clinches with McQueen against the cage.

Situation wants to clinch up but McQueen keeps it at a distance.

Situation is trying to force a seperation but McQueen has the dominant position.
A frustrated look appears on McQueen's face as he tries to break the clinch.
McQueen has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Situation after a bit of a struggle.
Situation jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as McQueen walks away with a smile on his face. Situation gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Situation fails with a takedown attempt from distance.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
McQueen is trying to maintain a safe position but Situation gets an underhook and turns McQueen into the cage.
Situation fails to pull the fight into his guard.
McQueen tries a body shot but Situation blocks it.
Situation lands a damaging elbow.

Situation is defending well against a takedown attempt.

McQueen gets control of Situation's arms and successfully pulls guard. McQueen will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now McQueen is on top in guard.

McQueen takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
McQueen lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.

Situation fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Situation throws a series of punches but McQueen avoids them all with ease.

McQueen shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
McQueen slows the pace down in half guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Situation tries to clinch but McQueen moves out of range.

McQueen changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Situation fights it off and pushes away nicely.
McQueen fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Situation shoots in looking for a takedown but McQueen manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Situation's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
McQueen avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

McQueen tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Situation looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by McQueen! Submission of the night perhaps?
