Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between John Joe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Drondor Kalhimikhov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Drondor Kalhimikhov will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kalhimikhov fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Joe looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Kalhimikhov tries to land a front kick but Joe steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Joe stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Joe wants it to stay on the feet.

Kalhimikhov pulls guard successfully.

Kalhimikhov working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Joe doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Joe manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Kalhimikhov wants to sweep but no luck.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Joe is pushing down on Kalhimikhov's leg trying to pass to half guard. Kalhimikhov is fighting to maintain full guard but Joe has managed to sneak the leg through.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Well Kalhimikhov has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
