Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Paul Zidel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ed Stark (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Zidel comes into the arena with Are You In? - Incubus blaring out of the sound system. Ed Stark looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stark fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Stark gets tackled into the cage by Zidel. Zidel maintains the clinch.
Zidel gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Stark.

Zidel manages to break the clinch.
A left and a right from Zidel both land. Nice combination.
Stark with a poor takedown

and Zidel counters by moving into the clinch.
Paul Zidel has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ed Stark.
Zidel stops a takedown attempt from Stark.
Stark looks winded!

Zidel has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Stark uses from the top position.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Stark prevents Zidel from getting back to his feet.
Stark controls from within his opponent's guard.

Stark drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Stark seems to have locked his on tight now - Zidel screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Stark, as he picks up the win!
