Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Doctor Swmswomly (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Abby Ryn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ryn closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Swmswomly's guard.

Swmswomly is looking for a triangle but Ryn pushes his legs off easily.

Swmswomly is working an open guard so Ryn takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Ryn checks the leg kick nicely there.
Doctor Swmswomly seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ryn lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Swmswomly at a distance.
Swmswomly misses with a double jab
and Ryn counters with a series of strikes. Swmswomly will be more careful next time no doubt.

Ryn is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Ryn shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Swmswomly's guard.
Ryn must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Ryn has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Swmswomly has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Ryn is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Swmswomly.

Well Ryn has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
