Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Panthera Leo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Doc Rivers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Leo comes to the cage accompanied by Ona Tańczy Dla Mnie - Weekend. Doc Rivers will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Rivers digs a good hook to Leo's body.
Leo fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

and Rivers counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Panthera Leo. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Leo shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Leo shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Rivers but Rivers pushes him off and we're back to square one.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
A chopping leg kick lands by Rivers.
Good standup being displayed there by Rivers as he connects with a hook.
Rivers lands a jab to the nose.
Leo walks straight into a right hand from Rivers - that's dropped him! Rivers jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Leo from any more punishment! Leo complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
