Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Boris Borzov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Demarques Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Borzov comes to the cage accompanied by Smoke Drank. Boris Borzov had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 171.1lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Boris Borzov!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Demarques Johnson!
The judges for this bout are Roger Salmon, Jeff Smith and Paul Gruel.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson swings for the body but Borzov moves out of range.
Borzov moves out of range as Johnson throws a body kick.
Borzov checks the leg kick.

Johnson drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Johnson is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Borzov parries the strikes from Johnson easily there. Johnson is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Borzov to escape.
Borzov is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Johnson off and has taken his back!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Borzov cracks Johnson with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Borzov goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Johnson turns into him and now he's in Borzov's guard.

Johnson gets to his feet. Borzov looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Johnson changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Borzov tries to avoid it but Johnson manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Borzov to the ground. Borzov escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Borzov fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Johnson sprawls well initially but Borzov persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Borzov thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Borzov is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Johnson knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Borzov closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Borzov throws a strike but Johnson avoids it easily and moves to full guard.
Borzov arches his back and unloads with a massive left and a right! Johnson's eyes roll back into his head, he's out cold! The ref dives in to stop the fight - wow, they were hard shots!
