Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nicky Fernandez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tony Trinckelton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
12 - 4 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Nicky Fernandez!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

21 - 15 - 1, fighting out of London, Tony Trinckelton!
The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Phil Schofield and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fernandez shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Trinckelton sprawls well. Trinckelton wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Fernandez gets slowly back to his feet.
Nicky Fernandez seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A jab from Fernandez does it's job there.
Fernandez throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Trinckelton on the side of the head.
Fernandez throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Trinckelton closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Fernandez to the mat! Fernandez manages to get full guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

That was a close round but I would say that Nicky Fernandez will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

and Trinckelton counters with a nice body shot.
Fernandez closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Trinckelton's guard.
Trinckelton wants to stand and escape but Fernandez is having none of it.

Trinckelton looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Fernandez with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Trinckelton wants to take a breather but Fernandez is having none of it.

No luck for Fernandez with that takedown attempt.

You can see the frustration on Fernandez's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
