The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Douhl avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Douhl throws a head kick that misses
and Pride counters with a big head kick but Douhl shrugs it off.
Pride gets tackled into the cage by Douhl. Douhl maintains the clinch.
Douhl content to slow the pace in the clinch.
Pride tries to circle away but Douhl has him pinned against the cage.
Douhl stalling in the clinch.
Douhl throws an elbow that misses.
Douhl is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
Pride tries for a takedown. No joy.
Douhl tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Douhl tries to land knees in the clinch but Pride avoids the damage to the body.
Douhl escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Pride throws a nice head kick!
It looks like Jok Douhl has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Pride dives in and grabs Douhl's left leg, looking for a takedown. Douhl pushes down on Pride's head and hops out.
Jok Douhl seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Douhl tries a head kick but it misses.
Douhl drives through and clinches with Pride against the cage.
Douhl pulls Pride into guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Douhl is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Pride has his hands clasped together but Douhl extends an breaks Pride's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Douhl.
