Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Simon Bruce (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michael Noonan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Bruce might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to I want it all. Noonan is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: 3DD - Kryptonite. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bruce scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Noonan doesn't seem bothered though.
Bruce fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Noonan moves out of range as Bruce strikes.
Noonan closes this distance looking for a takedown but Bruce circles away.
Bruce thows a body shot but no joy.
Bruce checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.

Bruce misses with an uppercut. Noonan saw that one coming.
Good leg kick by Noonan there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Noonan shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Noonan showed some decent athleticism there.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Bruce is staying active underneath Noonan, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Bruce's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Noonan connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Bruce scrambles back to his feet.

Well Noonan has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
