Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between SEVEN ELEVEN (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jeremiah West (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
West tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
ELEVEN fails with a takedown attempt.
West tries to clinch up but ELEVEN circles away and keeps his distance.
ELEVEN changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. West tries to avoid it but ELEVEN manages to keep hold of a leg and drag West to the ground. West escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
ELEVEN shoots in for a double leg but West sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for SEVEN ELEVEN. That's going to take a lot out of him.

West fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with ELEVEN, pushing him back against the cage.

West really doesn't want to stay on the ground with ELEVEN. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

ELEVEN drops back looking for a leg! West is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and West manages to kick ELEVEN off! ELEVEN jumps back into West's guard.
ELEVEN stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. West swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
West throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around ELEVEN's waist but ELEVEN gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing West off to one side.
West scores with a jab to the jaw.
West throws a quick head kick that skims the top of ELEVEN's head.
West tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but ELEVEN paws at him with a jab and circles away.

and West counters with a head kick. That will keep ELEVEN thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!

ELEVEN drops down looking for an ankle pick but West pulls his leg out and moves away.

West is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if ELEVEN gets his way!

West tries to stall but ELEVEN uses the opportunity to gain a better position.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

ELEVEN has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. West avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

ELEVEN postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! West is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of ELEVEN, into his guard.
ELEVEN manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. West manages to get himself to full guard.
ELEVEN wants to pass the guard but West is keeping the position.
West bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in ELEVEN's guard.

West gets to his feet - ELEVEN follows without any prompting.
ELEVEN fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

West has taken the fight to the clinch.
West wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but ELEVEN has him pressed against the cage.
ELEVEN can't get the takedown.
West tries to stall but ELEVEN uses the opportunity to gain a better position.

ELEVEN is figuring out what he wants to do next.

ELEVEN is working for a kimura but West is defending it quite comfortably.
SEVEN ELEVEN overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
ELEVEN prevents West from improving his position.

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to SEVEN ELEVEN.
I think ELEVEN has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
