Crash kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Take The Rock - King Cannons. Bailey has chosen Last Wordz as his entrance music. This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 20 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Snow Crash!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Hilo, Will Bailey!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Crash thows a body shot but no joy.
Crash throws a leg kick
and Bailey connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Bailey scores with the left hand. Crash knows he should have avoided that one.

Crash clinches.
Bailey tries a body shot but Crash blocks it.

Bailey breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Bailey pushes Crash up against the cage in a clinch.
Bailey pushes Crash back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
A battle for position here, against the cage.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Bailey lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Crash backwards.
Crash lands a body punch.
Bailey lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Bailey softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage.
Come on Crash - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.

Crash pulls Bailey into guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Bailey stands and steps away. Crash gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Crash misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Crash avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
A head kick misses from Bailey.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Bailey bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Crash throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Bailey blocks a leg kick.
Bailey tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Crash manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Bailey uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Crash throws a looping overhand right but Bailey ducks down to avoid it.
Snow Crash seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Crash pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Bailey lands a jab to the nose.
Bailey circles away from the clinch attempt.
Crash looks to throw the jab but Bailey is out of range.
Crash takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Crash misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Bailey.
Bailey throws a sloppy head kick and Crash moves out of range easily.
Bailey throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Crash's head.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Crash pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Crash throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Bailey scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Crash doesn't seem bothered though.
Crash avoids the body shot from Bailey.
Bailey scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.

Bailey clinches with his opponent.
Crash gets underhooks to prevent Bailey's takedown attempt.
Bailey wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.

Bailey escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Crash misses with a straight right.
Crash looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Crash tries to work over Bailey's front leg with a kick but Bailey checks it.
Nice shot by Bailey.
Bailey stuffs the takedown attempt from Crash. Crash gets slowly back to his feet.
Crash gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Crash wants to clinch up but Bailey keeps it at a distance.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Bailey closes the distance and pushes Crash back into the cage.
Crash scores with an uppercut up the middle.

Crash lands a takedown into guard.
Bailey wants to stand and escape but Crash is having none of it.
Bailey is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.
Crash pushing down on Bailey's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
Crash throwing shots but Bailey is blocking nicely.
Crash stops Bailey from getting back to his feet.

Crash is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Bailey defends it well.
Bailey scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Crash manages to mount him!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Bailey is really trying hard to get back to his feet.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Bailey looks winded!
Crash lands a big shot there that rocks Bailey but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Crash lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Bailey hang on?
The referee warns Bailey that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Crash scores with a couple of good head shots there.


Bailey is rocked!
Crash looking to finish here with some ground and pound. He lands one big shot that has Bailey covering up... and two more big strikes land, forcing the referee to step in and put and end to proceedings! This fight is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Snow Crash!
