The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rambo pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Rambo keeps the fight on the outside.
Rambo circles away from the clinch attempt.
Sloppy strikes from Handerson. Those never looked like landing.
Handerson throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Handerson throws a nice looking combination but Rambo bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Handerson tries to bum rush Rambo with a series of wild strikes but Rambo uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Handerson throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Handerson tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Rambo manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Handerson tries to close the distance and clinch up but Rambo swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Rambo looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.

Rambo is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Rambo has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Handerson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Rambo. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Handerson is trying to stand up here but Rambo is controlling him well.

Rambo is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Handerson defends it well.
Rambo working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
