The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blanco throws a sloppy head kick and Hogan moves out of range easily.
Hogan moves out of range of the body kick.

Blanco closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Blanco lands in his opponent's guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Blanco accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Blanco throws a big right hand that misses.

Hogan controls Blanco momentarily but Blanco frees himself.

Blanco postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Hogan is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Blanco, into his guard.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Hogan postures up in Blanco's guard and throws a big left but Blanco blocks it.
