The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Paderes throws a nice outside leg kick.
Gabriel throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Gabriel is trying hard to land a takedown here. Paderes sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Paderes instigates a clinch.
Gabriel trying to stall but Paderes improves his position.
Gabriel tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Paderes just stands there and leans against the ropes.

Paderes gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.

Paderes must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Gabriel has his feet on Paderes's thighs here. He's pushed Paderes off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Paderes screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
