The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kim throws a leg kick but Mosaddegh checks it.
Mosaddegh checks the leg kick nicely there.
Mosaddegh tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Kim was well out of range. Poor timing from Mosaddegh.
Kim circles away from the clinch attempt.
An inside leg kick from Kim misses.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Mosaddegh checks a leg kick.

Mosaddegh darts in and clinches Kim up against the cage.

Kim works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.
Mosaddegh is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Kim connects with a couple of short punches.

Mosaddegh is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kim prevents Mosaddegh from getting back to his feet.
