The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vraganza throws a hook but Hay blocks it.
Hay with a lazy takedown attempt
and Vraganza counters with a head kick. That will keep Hay thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!
Nice sprawl there from Vraganza as Hay shoots in.
Hay tries for a takedown but Vraganza circles away easily
and Vraganza counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Vrando Vraganza has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Nick Hay.
Hay throws a right hand that Vraganza ducks under and follows up with a left that Vraganza also avoids with ease.

and Vraganza counters with a nice low kick that buckles Hay's knee momentarily.
Vraganza is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Hay.

Vrando Vraganza decided to call for a title shot in his post fight interview, which was very strange given the fact this fight was for a title and he's already the champion. I guess that's what getting punched in the head does for you.
