Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Hector Lombard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Larry Monthan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lombard comes to the cage accompanied by Mortal Kombat. Larry Monthan looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Skip Squint and Donatello Bradman.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Monthan looks for a takedown but Lombard sprawls well.
Lombard thows a body shot but no joy.
Monthan changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Lombard tries to avoid it but Monthan manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Lombard to the ground. Lombard escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Lombard just misses with a punch to the body.
Lombard comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Lombard looks to throw the jab but Monthan is out of range.

Monthan moves into the clinch.
Monthan tries to pull guard but Lombard holds him up against the cage and eventually Monthan drops back down to his feet.
Hector Lombard has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Larry Monthan.

Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Lombard takes a swing at Monthan's ribcage but misses.
Hector Lombard is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Monthan wants to clinch but Lombard slips to the side
and Lombard counters with a stiff right hand.
Monthan keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Donk. Lombard catches Monthan right on the button with a cross.
Monthan will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
