The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Baker looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Baker wants to pass the guard but Tarasov is defending well.
Baker prevents Tarasov from improving his position.
Tarasov trying to hold on to Baker's head to control him but Baker postures up.
Tarasov is looking to improve his position.
Baker wants to get back to his feet.
Baker is pressing down on Tarasov's thigh, looking to free his foot. Tarasov is holding on for now.
Tarasov has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Baker is working away from the top position though.

Well, if Baker is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Horrible takedown by Baker or perhaps it was just good defense by Tarasov which made him look bad.
Baker fails with the takedown.
Baker has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Tarasov finds it's way round the side to connect with Baker's head.
Brett Baker seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Tarasov connects with a nice looking jab.

Tarasov jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Tarasov slaps away a takedown attempt from Baker, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Mikhail Tarasov has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Brett Baker.
Nice sprawl there from Tarasov as Baker shoots in.
Baker wants to clinch but Tarasov slips to the side
and Tarasov counters with a right hand to the body.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Tarasov connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Baker momentarily.

Tarasov lands with a hook. Baker tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

BAM! Tarasov delivers a spinning backfist that drops Baker like a ragdoll! This is all oooooveeeer! He was out before he hit the ground!

A less than humble Mikhail Tarasov misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
