The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Yukihiro Shimada and Shirou Masuda.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pain fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Watanabe avoids it really well and circles away.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Pain.
Watanabe lands a left and a right that send Pain crashing to the mat, dazed. Watanabe thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Pain is rocked!
It looks like John Pain has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Watanabe throws a right and a left that both miss.
Watanabe Throws a clean left jab. Watanabe Twirls his body and connects with a Spinning Back Fist that connects flush with Pain's chin! Pain crumbles to the ground and Watanabe follows up with some unanswered strikes. It's all over!! Nice standup skills displayed by Watanabe!
