Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Teriyaki Sukihara (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kip Killroy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Teriyaki Sukihara!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Kip Killroy!
The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Marco Blurström and Anni Minnemäki.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Killroy blocks a head kick by Sukihara.

Killroy drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Sukihara throws a nice looking combination but Killroy bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

and Killroy counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Killroy.

Killroy drags the fight down to the ground.
Killroy throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.
Killroy tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Sukihara wants to control from the top but Killroy keeps moving.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Killroy drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Killroy jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Killroy must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Killroy slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Sukihara is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Killroy stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Sukihara swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Sukihara bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Killroy's guard.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Killroy is on top in guard.

Sukihara escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Killroy gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Killroy controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Sukihara's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Sukihara manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Killroy manages to get himself to full guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Killroy accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Killroy slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Killroy stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Sukihara swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Sukihara working for submissions but it's allowed Killroy to get to half guard.
Killroy is looking to advance position but Sukihara won't allow it.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Killroy looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Killroy uses his free foot to push down on Sukihara's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Sukihara.
Sukihara tries to reverse the position but Killroy maintains control.
Killroy is landing with some decent strikes but Sukihara is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
Sukihara is in a horrible position here. Killroy smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Kip Killroy has got the better of the ground game so far.
Killroy cracks Sukihara with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Killroy raining down shots from the mount!

Killroy goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Sukihara is on top in guard.

Killroy looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Sukihara puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.
Killroy is trying to stand back up but Sukihara is controlling him
Killroy has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Sukihara is working away from the top position though.

Killroy really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Sukihara. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.
Killroy lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Killroy lands with a big left! Sukihara is wobbled badly! Killroy comes in with a flurry of punches and drops Sukihara to the floor. The ref jumps in to save him from unneccessary punishment.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:21 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Kip Killroy!
